Ruspet Exhausts specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of industrial exhausts. Founded in 1995 by Russell Cockburn, the company is based in Johannesburg, but over its 20 years in the industry has undertaken projects throughout Africa. Ruspet Exhausts manufactures to client specification, as well as offering products for earthmoving equipment that are designed according to OEM specification.
The company offers silencers, exhaust pipes, mufflers and elbows, as well as design, manufacture and installation of products for truck, earthmoving and generator installations.

Appointed distributor for
CDTi Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs)
The appointment significantly expands Ruspet’s range of bespoke solutions for industrial diesel engine exhaust applications. The addition of cutting-edge catalytic solutions in diesel engine emission control establishes Ruspet as a leader where environmental controls are becoming more stringently applied.
Ruspet’s excellent reputation for high-quality, cost-effective solutions in various mining, transport and other industry applications, positions the company ideally in representing American CDTi’s DPF range of ‘top quality’ products.
Ruspet’s objectives with the CDTi substrates at the core, is to provide custom designed and built DPFs (along the lines of CDTi’s Cattrap), but specifically designed for local industry applications, compliant with strict global standards and meeting local specific regulations.
Ruspet has prototyped solutions for specific applications, with initial customer installations already … “in the exhaust-pipe”!!
