Riding on the success, and credibility gained from the large-scale exhaust muffler project with Transnet diesel locomotive fleet, Ruspet has had confirmation for the upgrading of Transnet’s Port Truck fleets. Ruspet exhaust systems will be custom designed and fitted to Transnet truck specifications. These specs will include high grade 316 Stainless Steel to withstand the extreme harbour related corrosion conditions. Based on the success of initial installations, the plan is to roll out the exhaust system upgrades to all South African ports.
